Emily is a Cell Biologist with many years of experience working in Therapeutic Discovery and Development. She previously worked as a Translational Scientist at Celgene Corporation San Francisco, CA, supporting early clinical investigations in Hematology and Oncology. Her work specifically focused on investigating mechanisms of small molecule drug combinations as well as developing biomarker assays and executing patient sample analysis for first-in-human clinical trials. Prior to Celgene, Emily worked at Merrimack Pharmaceuticals Cambridge, MA, designing discovery strategies for target identification and lead selection. Additionally, she worked in collaboration with Computational Scientists to develop mathematical models of combinatorial growth factor signaling to help guide the therapeutic design of monoclonal and bispecific antibodies used to block growth factor-induced activation of receptor tyrosine kinases.

Emily graduated from Boston University with a Masters in Biotechnology and a PhD in Cell and Molecular Biology.
