Heather received her PhD in Biomedical Engineering from Yale University in 2020 and her BSE in Biomedical Engineering from Duke University in 2016. Her research focused on modeling neurotransmitter release and drug binding in the brain. Heather has also held ORISE Summer Research fellowships at the FDA, a Pratt undergraduate research fellowship. She is a fierce advocate for women in math/engineering, eating desserts before meals, and binge-watching reality television.
