Kristen is an experienced marketing professional focused on both strategic and tactical marketing in the biotech and pharmaceutical industry. Prior to Applied BioMath, Kristen was the Biotech and Pharmaceutical Industry Manager at MathWorks where her responsibilities included long-term strategy development, market analysis, competitive analysis, product launches, annual operational plan development and implementation, marketing content creation, and overall sales support.
Kristen holds an M.S. and B.S. in Biomedical Engineering from Boston University. Her graduate research, completed under the direction of Jim Collins, focused on building artificial gene regulatory networks in Arabidopsis thaliana. Her thesis work combined in silico and in vitro experiments, both of which were guided using controls engineering theory.
